Sunkiss Sister Circle — Workshop Series
Sunkisses has created a workshop series for community, educational and social institutions/organizations called the Sunkiss Sister Circle. Through a culturally relevant curriculum these workshops address self-esteem, conflict resolution, and multi-cultural awareness. Research shows that there is an increasing need for programs that address multicultural identity, self-perception and body image.

Workshop Topics

• Self-love
  This workshop helps girls affirm their value and beauty through examining the cultural and social messages that influence how they perceive themselves. This workshop helps young girls validate their uniqueness and teaches them how to accept themselves unconditionally.
• Sisterhood
  This workshop teaches young girls how to develop and maintain healthy relationships through mutual respect, trust, positive communication, and compassion.
• Conflict Resolution
  This workshop teaches young girls how to identify and heal, the source of their emotional pain in order to develop constructive ways to address and transcend their anger.
• Self-empowerment
  This workshop will help girls understand their power and the consequences of their choices. In this workshop girls will discuss their dreams and goals in order to create a plan for their futures, while acquiring tools to help them gain mastery over their lives.
• Cultural Diversity
  In this workshop girls will share and celebrate aspects of their cultures in order to identify how cultures are alike and different. The purpose of this workshop is to teach people how to see themselves in one another.
